The nature of the Holy Spirit

Understanding the Lordship of the Holy Spirit is learning to yield to His consuming nature. The immersion of the Holy Spirit saturates every cell of your being and regenerates every pathway of thought. This gush of divine love destroys every barrier of insecure images and rescues you from decay. The Holy Spirit is more than a language; the Holy Spirit is a fire-wind of unrelenting love. This sacred flame is purging you from your false self and revealing your true self. With every plunge into this radical flame, you are becoming more radiant than ever as your desires become entwined with His. The very same love the Father has for Jesus is now embedded inside of you. In this immersion, there is no distance between what is in Him and what is within you. At this moment, you are infused with the power of unrestrained love—a love that doesn’t settle for a casual approach but demands a personal touch. This is why it’s right to question what you call love if it doesn’t come with fire. The aim is His eyes, and the mutual flame is your inheritance.

You are becoming what you are beholding, so stare into the eyes of fire until the whole of your being is set ablaze with the unrelenting flames of perfect love. This love doesn’t just destroy the old image but resurrects you into a mature obsession. This doesn’t create a devotion from duty but is a delight that comes from an intimate union. The only requirement to receiving His lordship is grace. You can’t earn this love, but you must learn to yield to its consuming nature. As you learn to open the corridors of your heart more fully, it creates a backdraft of fire that will consume all!
