Head On His Heart, Takes Me On A Journey

Updated: Dec 4, 2024

I’m learning that maybe it isn’t from my head to my heart, but rather from my head to laying on His heart. Leaning in so much that I can feel the rhythm of His heart and it’s renewing my mind. With every pulse, I am reminded of how I’m loved and it’s framing the way that I live. Love is the greatest witness of purpose. Where you are sure that you are loved is where you are safe to dream. It’s the place where you can encounter beyond the mysteries of “how”, “when”, and “where”. Our journey begins with how in tune we are with His heart. It’s the pure of heart that see God.

How important is it that we see God? How can we be sure that we are pure in heart? This is only accomplished when you’ve traded platforms of ambition for seats of beloved intention. The pure in heart is measured not just by emotion, but by fascination. Being gripped by grace transforms confusion into clarity. Not necessarily the clarity of all things, but the absolute clarity of ONE thing. The only thing that is certain, is that His heart for me is changing me. I no longer feel the same about things that I once did. I don’t see the world or people the same. I use to look at the world through a jaded lens of us versus them, but now I’m seeing the world as a hidden beauty waiting for its redemption.

My head on His heart is taking me on a journey. A journey that ultimately reveals His nature to a veiled world. My prayer is much more than my words, it’s my aim, it’s my direction. My prayer isn’t for breakthrough, it’s my aim toward the beauty of Jesus. My prayer doesn’t just create breakthrough, it paves a road to a world where nothing is impossible. This isn’t for a select few, but for generations to walk on for the ages to come.

This ancient road is invisible to the casual observer but is being discovered by the yielded, longing for the way to all things made new. Not just made new for me, but made new for all. Until everyone discovers the beauty of Jesus that’s hidden in plain sight. This kingdom lens wants everyone to become the beauty they were created to be. My head laying on His heart moves me beyond the veil with eyes to see all that was created to be: True light, true beauty, and true identity. Somehow I feel this is just the beginning.
