Never Casual

Casual - Relaxed or Unconcerned
I’ve recognized that those who are being pierced by the revelation of righteousness are not handling that message casually, but very deliberately.
If you do handle the message casually, it will keep you veiled from your true self and trap you into celebrating the false self. This is the essence of “sinning.” It’s you responding to your false self and not your true identity as beloved. Sin is not a checked box or a list of don’ts. It’s you simply responding through the casual image of who you are not! This eventually leaves you empty and discontent. But when you learn to handle the message of righteousness deliberately, you will find yourself satisfied by joy unspeakable and peace full of glory!
Receiving the message of righteousness and beloved identity will cause you to become acquainted with His jealousy. Remember, jealousy is never appropriate for something that doesn’t belong to you, but it is absolutely essential for the things that belong to you by covenant. You will never respond to jealousy casually. Jealousy is a covenant affection that brings you more fully into who you really are because it refuses to let you drift toward who you pretend to be in false self.
I am most alive when fiery affections dictate my rhythm, pace, and cadence. In the sweet spot of beloved identity, worry, fear, offense, doubt, and insecurity become a faded memory and a distant voice.
He is love. He is a fire that consumes. When you refuse to handle those things casually and you get pierced by righteousness, it brings you into His shared affection. He pulls you into His love, and you share in His affection for the world. As He pulls you into the dance around the throne, it spins you so wildly that it causes His light to become color across the canvas of your world!
This is a reality I never want to be "unconcerned" with, so I must never treat casually what is truly holy!
